Join us on Wednesday, January 26 at 10:00 AM for a conversation with Peter Edwards as he shares his perspectives on Organized Crime in Canada.  The Zoom session opens at 9:30AM for folks that want to chat before we start.

I am sure many of you may recognize Peter as the Toronto Star’s organized crime beat reporter.   He is the author of 16 books, 10 of which are on the subject of organized crime.

His book Business or Blood: Mafia Boss Vito Rizzuto’s Last War was the basis for a CITY TV original series “Bad Blood” that made its way to Netflix.  Watch the season 1 trailer here.

His books on organized crime have been translated into French, German and Italian and published across North America, Europe and Australia.  His book, Delusion, about Victorian super-spy Henri Le Caron made it onto the CIA’s “Intelligence Officers Bookshelf” and was called a “well-documented corrective to an intriguing spy story.”

Peter  has been interviewed about organized crime for the BBC, CBC, CTV, CBS and the Mob Stories series for History Television. He frequently lectures on organized crime and journalism at several universities and colleges. Often he begins his talks by paraphrasing Keith Richards and saying, “It’s great to be here. It’s great to be anywhere.”

I am sure that Peter’s perspectives on the current situation as it relates to Organized Crime in Canada will be both informative and intriguing.

This is a free event but you need to register to attend.  The registration deadline is 5pm on Sunday January 23rd.
