The EACTN endeavours to offer a safe environment for its members. Each activity or event sponsored by the Club will operate in accordance with applicable government requirements and guidelines with respect to COVID-19.

The EACTN cannot limit individuals at its events (those being members, guests, or others who may be present at the facilities) to only be those that are fully vaccinated. (2 doses plus 14 days).

Consistent with current government guidelines, the EACTN does not require those participating in its events to be fully vaccinated.  However, the EACTN recommends that individuals attending events strongly consider receiving recommended booster dose(s) of vaccines, and the use of masks regardless of government guidelines.

Individuals wishing to attend should do so after considering their own personal circumstances and evaluating any risks in attending the event or activity including any pre-existing conditions or actual conditions at the time of the event or activity.

Members are expected to refrain from attending an event or activity if they believe that their conditions may put themselves or other participants at risk with respect to COVID-19.

This is our Summer Solstice Celebration where we will play golf for everyone’s enjoyment and where the only rule will be to have fun together.

The cost of this event is only $85/person all inclusive:

• 9 holes of golf with carts
• Custom dinner with tea or coffee, and dessert, all services and taxes included
• Dinner choices include roasted chicken supreme, pan seared salmon fillet, or grilled vegetables vegan option
• Dessert included, NY style cheesecake
• Private room, just for the EACTN function

Everyone will only have to pay for their own bill from the bar.

Deer Creek has been reserved for 36 players and sequential Tee-times will begin at 3pm. When your foursome finishes the round, sit and enjoy a drink and socialize with the other golfers in the private Coughlan Room, specifically set aside for this event. Dinner will follow after the last foursome gets back and everyone is settled in.

After dinner, we will have some prizes, followed by a brief Trivia Game as we did during the last such event at Cherry Downs in 2019.

This event is expected to be sold out, so please register promptly. Also note that Deer Creek GC has advised that all meals must be booked by June 6 (10 days before event). As such, PLEASE register early, otherwise you also risk that you might not get the meal choice you selected.

At this time, this event is restricted to EACTN members only, on a first come, first served basis. As organizer for this event, I will try to accommodate your preferences for a specific foursome but I cannot guarantee it unless you reserve for the foursome. Please know that you can register as a single golfer, two, three or foursome. If you don’t indicate a group registration, no issues, we will work hard to make good foursomes.
