Your EACTN executive invites you to attend a cruise through the beautiful Trent Severn Waterway aboard The Island Princess III on August 17, 2023.  Discover the unbelievable beauty of this remote region of the Kawarthas. You will be entertained by the Captain’s colourful commentary on the history of Peterborough and the Trent Severn Waterway.  Experience the highlight of the trip where the boat goes up an over the Peterborough Lift lock 21 – the world’s highest hydraulic lift lock which lifts 65 feet above the city.

Day schedule:

• 8:00 am     Bus pick-up;  location: Clatworthy Arena, 2400 John Street, by the corner of John St. and Don Mills Rd.
• 10:30 pm   Cruise starts
• 12:30 pm   Cruise ends; lunch at the popular Jack’s Family Restaurant across the street from the marina. Menu:
  • Appetizer: caesar salad
  • Main course choices:
    • Jack’s famous fish and chips
    • ¼ rotisserie chicken dinner
    • vegetable stir fry
  • Dessert: selection of home-made pies
• 2:30 pm  Departure back to Clatworthy
