Your EACTN Executive invites you to join your fellow EACTN members for a virtual session with our fellow Calgary annuitant, Jim Hughes on Thursday March 9 at 10:00 am. This is repeat of a presentation previously made to the Calgary annuitants.

Jim  will describe a seven-week trip he took in 2013 through Russia, Central Asia, and China, including a two week long train trip from Moscow to Beijing following the fabled Silk Road and visiting the great ancient trading cities of Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand.   In China the talk also describes a cruise through the Three Gorges of the Yangtze and visits to Xian, Lijiang, Beijing, and Shanghai.

Join us via Zoom on Thursday, March 9, at 10:00 am when Jim will share with us his travel experiences. The Zoom room will open at 9:30. This is a “free” event to members but you need to register using the form below.

The registration deadline is 5pm on Sunday March 5.

One day before the event, Zoom details will be sent to those who have registered. The Zoom session will open up at 9:30AM to allow some time to chat before the session. Please advise the organizer if you registered but are then unable to attend the session.
