Why is Edvard Munch’s iconic 1895 painting, The Scream, so famous? What are the secrets behind this renowned painting? Join your fellow members on Thursday, October 19/23 at 10am via ZOOM to find out.

Barbara Isherwood, our presenter, has an MA in art history and has been writing about both famous and lesser known masterpieces for 18 years and teaching courses for nine at U of T’s School of Continuing Studies and Curious Minds. As a host of ArtSync TV she’s interviewed many great Canadian artists as well as curated exhibitions and hosted a radio program on the arts. She’s promised no boring academic language or opaque artspeak in this presentation.
