Join us via ZOOM @ 10am on Monday Feb. 14 for this unique opportunity to learn more about Facebook. “A Primer on Facebook” is a training course, specifically designed for EACTN members in 2 groups:

  • Those who are currently not using Facebook, but would like to learn more
  • Those who are using Facebook, but want improve their comfort level, knowledge and skills (and reduce “fear”!)

Here is what we will cover:

  • What is Facebook?
  • How to open a new Facebook Account
  • The Facebook interface
  • How to do common things on Facebook (e.g. post something, review your feed, use comments and reactions, review a timeline, find and connect with friends, etc.)
  • The EACTN Facebook Group
  • Privacy & other concerns
  • Where to get help?
  • Open Q&A’s

Unlike other recent EACTN presentations, this will be more of a “joint learning session”. Participants will not be asked to wait until the end with their questions, and as a group, we will try and address questions, issues and concerns as we go. We’re all sure to learn something, no matter where we might be on the Social Media or Facebook journey!

This is a free event but you need to register. Deadline for registration is 5pm on Friday Feb. 11.
