As a follow-up to our previous presentations relating to Advance Care Planning and End of Life, Dying With Dignity will speak to us again – this time to provide us with some guidelines when dealing with a life-changing diagnosis.

Bina Feldman and Dr. Leith Drury, dedicated volunteers with Dying with Dignity, will provide a roadmap for thinking about, talking about and managing any diagnosis. These strategies will increase your awareness and help you cope better in demanding situations. The presentation will be followed by a discussion period.

Audiences will learn how to:
Stay positive yet realistic through their illness journey
Use their values and preferences to guide health care decisions
Understand patient rights and how to speak up

Join us via Zoom on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 10:00 am when Bina Feldman and Dr. Leith Drury will speak to us on how to deal with such a situation. The registration deadline is Sunday, February 8, 2026 at 5:00 pm.

The ZOOM link will be sent to those who are registered the day before the presentation. The ZOOM session will open at 9:30am to allow some time to chat before the presentation.
