Jim Hughes will present a talk covering an eight week trip he made through Africa, all the way from Cape Town in the south to Morocco in the north. The focus of much of the talk will be on the varied wildlife of the different countries and terrains with highlights including the desert-adapted animals of Namibia, the gorillas of the jungle of Uganda, the vast expanses, and herds of the Serengeti and Masai Mara, including the predators that prey on them. Then, for a change of scene, he’ll showcase the colourful variety of cultures in Morocco.
